Introduction

I created this blog for my Personal Odyssey, which is about my love of books. In this blog I will talk about books I’ve read, share my opinion on those books, suggest some of my favorites, and show you some very interesting or practical words that I have found in my reading. Personal Odyssey is an exploration of something that you love doing, which you choose at the beginning of the year in 8^th grade at the Girl’s Middle School.

Originally I was going to research 5 countries and for each place choose 3 cities, find the 10 top things I want to do in each city, read a book based in that country, and bake a recipe from that place. The Personal Odyssey that I started with has been very difficult for me because I usually go over board, but recently I realized that something I have been doing all year is reading.  I read a lot in 7^th grade but this year I have read a great deal more especially because of the Reviewers. I love reading and I think I have really improved since 7^th grade; another thing I have been doing this year is creating my own vocabulary list. I was very excited when I saw one of the words in a book I was reading. I really hope you like my blog and I would love if you comment on the things I write.
